The XTENDEX® HDMI HDBase-T Extender transmits uncompressed digital HDMI signal, IR, optional RS232, optional Ethernet, and optional SPDIF digital audio up to 328 feet (100 meters) over a single CAT5e/6/7 cable using HDBase-T technology. Each video extender consists of a local unit that connects to an HDMI source and a remote unit that connects to an HDMI display.

The XTENDEX® HDMI HDBase-T Extender transmits uncompressed digital HDMI signal, IR, optional RS232, optional Ethernet, and optional SPDIF digital audio up to 328 feet (100 meters) over a single CAT5e/6/7 cable using HDBase-T technology. Each video extender consists of a local unit that connects to an HDMI source and a remote unit that connects to an HDMI display.

  • Transmits an uncompressed high speed HDMI signal over one CAT5e/6/7 cable.
  • Supports HDTV resolutions to 1080p and computer resolutions to 4096x2160.
    • Extend 1080p up to 500 feet (152 meters) using NTI's CAT6A-BULK23-BLUE-NPC CAT6a 750 MHz solid unshielded bulk cable.
    • Extend 1080p up to 5,328 feet (1,624 meters) when combined with NTI's ST-FOHD-LC HDMI Extender via Fiber Optic Cable.
  • Full Infrared Remote (IR) control of HDMI source from remote HDTV using existing source remote control.
  • Only one power supply is necessary to power both the local and remote units.

    If more distance is required than the ST-C6HD-HDBT's 328 feet extension, the ST-FOHD-LC HDMI Extender via Fiber Optic Cable can be integrated into the set up to extend a 1080p HDMI signal up to 5,328 feet away. HDMI cable lengths available: 3/6/9/14/20/30/50/100 feet.

    Note that with this set-up, IR control of the HDMI source is not supported by the ST-FOHD-LC.
