Features & Applications
The XTENDEX Rackmount Extender Module Tray allows you to mount up to 12 extender modules in a space-saving 2RU shelf. The local and remote extender modules are interconnected via CAT5/5e/6 cable.
  • Designed for use with NTI's rackmount transmitter / receiver modules.
  • Rackmount local module compatible with rackmount remote module or desktop remote unit.
  • Mount up to 12 modules in a single 2RU tray.
  • Cable/power supply management shelf included.
  • Includes eleven blank front panel covers.
    • Hides open slots on the tray.
    • Prevents change in airflow through rack cabinets.

    • Ideal solution for fast-growing installations.
    • Available extender modules: USB KVM extender to 91 meters with optional audio.
      • The local module connects to a USB-enabled computer and provides local keyboard, monitor, mouse and optional speaker connections.
      • The remote module connects to a USB keyboard, USB mouse, VGA monitor and speakers (optional).
      • The local and remote modules are interconnected via CAT5/5e/6 cable up to 91 meters.

    Cables

    • NTI High Density cables between user devices and the XTENDEX Extender Modules are required for proper operation.
    • NTI High Density cables between the CPUs and the XTENDEX Extender Modules are required for proper operation.
    • Use CAT5, CAT5e or CAT6 UTP straight through cable for TIA/EIA-568B wiring terminated with standard RJ45 connectors between the local and remote units.
    • Cables not included.
